TREK The Path of Health
The Path of the Suggestive Northern Bays
Description of the route
From Procchio Beach, a wide expanse of golden sand on the northern coast of Elba Island, we'll enter a holm oak forest, immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, following a coastal path that will offer us constant glimpses of the sea. Along the way, we'll pass two small, pristine bays, perfect for a brief regenerating break, and continue through a suggestive tunnel dug into the rock during World War II, a silent testimony to the past. The white beach of Biodola, a celebrity hotspot and home to one of the island's most luxurious hotels, will be there waiting for us for a well-deserved swim in the crystal-clear waters and a snack by the sea. We'll then return along the same path, allowing us to experience it from a different perspective with new lights and views, concluding our excursion rich in history, sea, and nature. Duration: FULL DAY Length: 9 km Elevation gain: 200 m Difficulty: E (Hiking)
